About Me


During my 36+ years of professional radio experience, I have been exposed to most situations – from developing and managing large, high-performing talent, to finding and bringing in fresh new talent, and navigating through changes in structure, management and systems. I have been at the centre of programme strategy development at both a group and local level, working on budgets, group operations and reporting systems. Rajar and compliance are two areas of expertise, often being the source of guidance for colleagues.

My Skills


I have management and coaching skills, developed over a multiple-decade career in media.

I’ve worked with small and large teams, remote working, hybrid and face-to-face. I have coaching experience with new talent and high-performing legacy talent.

I have organised and crafted training modules and can present content and lead training days, in person and remotely.

My experience with Rajar, radio’s audience measurement, has involved detailed analyses, creating articles and measurement tools and in-depth reviews of performance for stations and groups.
